Volo Auto Museum's 2008 Major Car Events

Father’s Day, Sunday, June 15- A special Military Festival  with expanded displays including M-16s used in major conflicts and the movies. Black powder cannon gets fired throughout the day.  World War II re-enactors on site throughout the day. Bring your earplugs for this learning experience.-Event Admission: $10. George Barris July 4 Weekend-July 4, 5 and 6 - Hollywood custom car designer George Barris visits Volo for three days. “Expect A Miracle Foundation” charity car show Saturday, July 5. Always a crowd-pleasing event, George Barris takes great pride in signing autographs and mingling with fellow enthusiasts and vendors.  Enjoy expanded food court and surprises. Event Admission: $14. Sunday, July 27- The Top Cats Motorcycle Club recruits more than 300 bikes.  Food, music, raffles, prizes and awards fuel the charitable atmosphere. MEMBERS NEVER PAY

 

Sunday, August 3- Legendary king of Mopar muscle, Mr. Norm revisits Grand Spaulding Dodge glory years.  Mopar’s big block bad boys mix it up with venders, outdoor food court and other surprises. Event Admission: $12 MEMBERS NEVER PAY

 

Saturday, Sept. 13- Fall Car Corral and Expo- Private owners showcase their cars throughout outdoor parks, bidding farewell to the summer heat. Enjoy music, food and special surprises. General Admission: $9 MEMBERS NEVER PAY

 

Sunday, Sept. 21- Rally Insurance Invitational- The classic car insurance firm hosts a bash for clients and their highly-prized wheels. Live band and expanded food court add to the fun.  Regular admission. MEMBERS NEVER PAY

 

Sunday, Oct. 19- Toys for Tots- Marines are on hand to accept toy donations. Visitors bringing toys receive discount admission. This year’s collection goal:  1,000 toys. More than 300 vintage cars expected. The museum serves as the final leg of rally event. Regular admission. MEMBERS NEVER PAY
