This is a replica of a 1916 Victorian Style Trolley.  It was built by Chance Trolley Co., the premier builder of trollies and cost new $250,000.  It has every available option and more.  Unlike the base model, this top of the line model is loaded with options making it as close to and authentic to an original trolley as possible.  It has an authentic raised roof with side glass, some trollies have a fake raised roof that simply set on top of the main roof.  It has the front end cow-catcher, full mahogany wood dress up kit, including wood rear wheel skirts.  Solid brass interior trim and wood bench seating.

This open-air version has the politician platform on the back for standing.  This is the same exact trolley as used by Bill Clinton during a public speech in New Orleans.  Modern comforts include air operated front door and rear gate, air suspension and brakes plus an air ride seat.  The front door is equipped with handicap accessible stairs.  It has front and read air conditioning and heat.  The trolley comes with removable Lexan glass to enclose the entire bus for inclement weather.

We purchased this trolley from the Paducah Transit Authority in KY.  Because it was a city bus, it received a strict maintenance routine.  It runs and drives beautifully.  We used this trolley for short tours around our property during spring, summer and fall.  We added a stereo and microphone so we could talk to and entertain our passenger guests.  When the trolley was not in use, it was parked and displayed as an attraction, it's beauty and authenticity is admired the same as any of our classic cars.
