1940 Cadillac Series 62 Torpedo Coupe

For 1940 the series 62 was new featuring the projectile or torpedo style body, and 1940 was the final year for sidemounts.  The torpedo coupe is one handsome Cadillac.  The series 62 featured a low sleek body with chrome window reveals, more slant to the windshield, and curved rear window.  The running boards were optional.  This torpedo coupe was recipient of a recent frame off nut and bolt restoration of a good original car.  The exterior is clad in mirror cobalt blue with tan ribcord interior, wide whitewalls, new glass and chrome, very neat biplane bumper guards with dual fogs.  The engine and transmission were rebuilt for unleaded fuel, runs and drives excellent.  Complete video of this vehicle available for $50, refunded with vehicle purchase, and includes overnight shipping of video.  Call our classic car division at 815-385-8408 for video and/or vehicle information.
